Cockatiel Cages

Cockatiel Cages are built specifically to accommodate these active birds. A long and wide cage is better than tall and skinny for your cockatiel. It will need room to stretch and flap its wings. Remember that your cockatiel should be let out of its cage at least once a day, and that the more time the cockatiell will be in its bird cage, the bigger the cage should be. These bird cages for cockatiels have horizontal and vertical bars to facilitate climbing and no more than 3/4" bar width for safety. Buy a large cockatiel cage to ensure your favorite bird's tail does not brush the floor.
